The Volcanos park in Rwanda is another popular park for gorilla safaris, second only to Bwind forest in gorilla population count. You also get chance to visit the Dian Fossey tombs , the Karisoke research center plus do some hiking to get your adrenaline pumping.

Congo's Virunga park is rarely visited mainly because of the constant rebel wars and though peace is slowly coming back, few tourists would feel safe trekking through this park making Bwindi and Volcano parks the best destinations for gorilla trekking expedition.
