AKAGERA WILDLIFE SAFARI

2 Days (1 night) Rwanda safari takes you to Akagera national park, Rwanda's most popular game park home ot variety of mammal and bird species. Enjoy guided morning game drives plus boat ride on Lake Ihema.

Day 1:Transfer to Akagera national park & Boat ride
Our Debian safaris driver guide will pick you up from your from your hotel in Kigali after your breakfast. Drive to Akagera national park. On arrival check into your hotel or lodge, settle in and have lunch. In the evening you will be transferred to Lake Ihema where you will have a boat ride. View lots of birds and wildlife as they water at the banks of the lake. Possible sightings may include kingfishers, African fish eagle, hippo, crocs and many more. Return to your lodge retiring for dinner and overnight after your adventure. Accommodation at Akagera Game Lodge (High Class)/ Dereva hotel (Budget)- Full Board

Day 2: Game drive & departure
Today you will rise early so as to indulge in a pre-breakfast game drive which may avail opportunities to spot early risers that you missed out on yesterday. Possible sightings may include buffaloes, antelopes, topi, zebras and many more. Return to your hotel or lodge for breakfast after which you will enjoy another game drive before returning for lunch. After lunch exit the park ending your safari with your arrival in Kigali. If you have a home bound flight to catch you will be transferred to the airport.
