3 Days Kibale Forest Tour

3 Days (2 nights) Uganda safari takes you to Kibale forest, home to highest population of Chimpanzees in Uganda plus also other 12 primate species

Day 1: Drive to Kibale forest

You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala after which you will drive to Fort portal the home of Kibale forest. On arrival in fort portal have lunch then have a visit to Mparo tombs a burial site for the Toro kingdom royalty. Return to your hotel to rest for the night. Dinner & Overnight at Primate Lodge (luxury)/ Chimp’s Nest (Medium range)/ Chimpanzee guest house (Budget).

Day 2: Chimp walk and swamp exploration

Begin your morning with breakfast at your lodge after which you will be transferred to the forest for a short briefing by an UWA official and have a guide allocated for your chimp walking.  You will view chimps in their natural habitat whilst on this walk and if you are lucky you may also see some other primates. Have lunch at your lodge then proceed to Bigodi wetland a pleasant spot for birders. Lots of swamp specialties like Green buls, African pitta, crowned eagle and many more will be spotted here. Dinner & Overnight stay at lodge/ camp

Day 3: Drive to Kampala

You will check out of your lodge after breakfast and drive back to Kampala ending your adventure with your safe arrival.
