QUEEN ELIZABTETH PARK SAFARI

3 days Uganda safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth national park, Uganda's most popular park home to a diversity of mammal and bird species. Trip features an early morning and evening game drive through Kasenyi plains plus an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel endin it with a primate walk at the Kyambura gorge

Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park + evening game drive

Check out of your hotel early in the morning after breakfast and proceed with our driver guide to Queen Elizabeth national park. Settle into your choice lodge after which you will relax and have a light lunch. Visit the mating grounds in the evening and whilst on this drive possible sights may be elephants, baboons, lions and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari Lodge (luxury)/ Hippo hill camp (Medium range)/ Simba safari camp (Budget)

Day 2: Game drive & launch cruise

After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the Kasenyi plains for a game drive. Expect to sightings of buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards and a variety of antelope and bird species during the long drive. Return to lodge for lunch and realxation. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, small water channel that connects Lake Geoge to Edward home to the largest concentration of hippos in Uganda. Expect sightings of both water and land animals as they busk on the river banks. Retun to lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 3: Primate gorge walk and transfer to Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, our guide will transfer you to the Kyambura gorge for a short primate walk. Expect to encounter a variety of primate species including chimpanzees, baboons, vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys plus lots of birds. Return to the lodge for lunch and then check out and prepare for transfer back to Kampala
